A lot has been going on. We're planning to take time off to go to the desert.
Tim saw his UCSF oncologist earlier this week. The oncologist and his team were somewhat shocked that Tim hadn't had a break from chemo in over a year and a half. So, they recommended Tim continue to take time off. He's been off chemo now . . .

After meeting with Paul's oncologist, some things got clarified. His cancer isn't relapsing yet, but the drug he was on is no longer effective and new chemo treatments are beginning. As of February 1, Paul has retired as Associate Director of Through the Looking Glass and Co-Director of the National Center for Parents with Disabilities and their Families. It was a combination of our health issues, trying to limit exposure to others since our immune systems are fairly compromised, and the . . .

Belated Happy New Year. While we’re so grateful to be able to see 2017 (especially for Tim), it was a somewhat rocky few early weeks over the holidays. We both had some ups and downs with our chemo and side-effects. Nothing too dramatic, but let’s say we spent a lot of time close to the bathroom.
We had a wonderful visit with Paul’ . . .
